3D Rendering is creating a 2D image or animation (a collection of multiple images played back at a specific frame rate) of a 3D scene generated by computer software.

Depending on the size and complexity of the project, and the type of service provided (e.g still rendered image or animation), average turnaround times can range from 4-5 days for a small scale project, to 4-5 weeks for a medium-large scale project.

3D modeling is the process of creating a 3D object from a 2D design (or vice versa), while 3D rendering is the process of creating realistic 2D images or animations from the 3D object.

Depending on the size and complexity of the project, architectural renderings can cost (Canadian Dollars) :

• Still Rendered Images: $50 - $200 per image or an hourly rate

• Animations: $1000 - $5000 or an hourly rate
